New to lacrosse?

Heard about lacrosse from a friend or neighbor and want to find out more? You're in the right spot! Lacrosse is a fast-paced and exciting game that combines elements of soccer, basketball, and hockey. It is a high-energy sport that requires speed, agility, and teamwork. Players use a long stick with a net on the end to catch, carry, and pass the ball. The objective of the game is to score goals by shooting the ball into the opposing team's net. Lacrosse is a great way to stay active, make new friends, and develop important skills like hand-eye coordination and communication. Plus, it's a ton of fun!

USA Lacrosse is a great resource for parents and players that would like to learn more about the game. You'll also find helpful links and videos on this page, or feel free to contact us with specific questions.

Every year new kids join the program. Don't worry if your kid has never played-many kids haven't so your child is not at a disadvantage. Bainbridge Boys Lacrosse offers programs from youth through high school, and new players are welcome at all levels.  We also offer a variety of clinics, camps, and other programs throughout the year that enable new players to develop skills and for experienced players to take their game to the next level.
